Trade Name

Woohoo, I am now the proud owner of the trade name, after about 2 months of waiting and $25.00!

Still Waiting Apple...

Still waiting on Apple to review the app. If they do -- and submit it to the app store , I can order the business cards with the logo on it. There is a website that shows how long it usually takes for Apple to review apps, by submitted reports, and at this point in time Apple is taking an average of 7 days, which has would be today. So hopefully they will check it today and I can get going!

Apps

I finally have 1.0 finished and submitted for review for the iOS.  It has the basics in terms of functionality, but then again I just wanted a form and call features.
I began the Android version today and hope to have a working model in the Play Store within a few weeks. 
Again, I am not shooting for glory here (don't have time for massive amounts of features), I just wanted the main components to work to get started.  I can always update later.  I need to get going on some other items as well.

Trying to find a home for my domain.  I am not really interested in hosting my own, and would love some tools to build with.  This blog (which, at the time of writing this is the home of my main domain) is a temporary home.  Any recommendations?

App is in beta

The app is wired up and ready to go.  I have it loaded in the simulator, my iPad, and several peoples phones -- all to test it out and work out what bugs there may be.  In about a week I will submit it to the app store.

Then, I begin the work on the Android version.

In the meantime, I modified the form in which users can submit work requests and added it to the site.  I also copied and pasted the 'About' and 'Estimates' pages that I conjured up for the app and placed them into pages on the site.  I want a nice, clean, and neat web interface.  However, I am beginning to think that it is too neat -- and now just simple!

Once I finally settle on a logo (one of the things holding me back from the app store, because the iOS app will need it) I will order some business cards.  What else am I forgetting....

App nearing conpletion

My free time (what little there is) has been devoted to finishing the app. I still haven't decided on a theme and symbols yet so I may just go with the gray on gray scheme. I like the bubbles on the icon, but not sure about it yet.

Any comments or critiques would be appreciated.
